VIEW OF OSMENA PEAK.

This place is known for it's breathtaking view of the country side.
It is located in Mantalongon, Dalaguete the Southern part of Cebu.
It is about 80 kilometers away from the city. Osmena Peak arises at 1,013 meters about sea level it is considered as the roof of Cebu and has a 360 degrees view of nature including the Islands of Bohol and Negros.

When going up to the top most of the peak it would take time by just hiking and it could be  like a climbing up a mountain.

When we get there at the very top most of the Peak it was so cold and it was like a mini Baguio City. It could really make you feel very refreshing. You can set away all your problems and just think about on how the place is . When I was at the top of the peak is feels like that I'm in heaven.

Mantalongon is Cebu's Summer Capital. Its elevation gives it  a cool weather that permits the abundance of vegetables in the area. Crops and wild flowers are usually sight upon your ascent to Osmena Peak. 

Other Informations :

• You can leave your other things at the Mantalongon Barangay hall but don't leave your cellphones, wallet, camera's and other important valuables.
• You can find nearby Carenderia's at Mantalongon's Lungsod and you can also find a market their. They sell a lot of fresh picked vegetables at a very affordable price.
• You may also spend a night at the peak but make sure you will bring your own tent, foods and water.

How to get there:

From Cebu City, have your way to South Bus Terminal and hop into one of the Bato via Dalaguete buses. Alight in Dalaguete junction and take a single motorcycle ride ("habal-habal") to Mantaongon market or at the foot of Osmena Peak.

Bus fare for airconditioned bus is Php60.00/pax. Find a habal-habal driver that will take you to the foot of the Osmena Peak. Experienced hikers opted to start their trek/climb from Mantalongon Market but if you're saving time, you may start at the foot of the peak and have an estimated ascend time for only 30 minutes.
